Rob MacLachlan, Owner & President of South Shore Yachts in Niagara-on-the-LakeRob brings 35 years of experience in the sailing industry to the team, including his years at C&C Yachts, more if you count his years as a junior sailor and instructor. Recently his passion for racing has been transformed into a passion for cruising. Clocking over 5000nm in the South Pacific on a Swan 57 will do that to you. Rob's technical skills and wealth of knowledge were instrumental on the voyage, as he made repairs to the water maker, vacuflush systems, generator, furler and more, mid crossing. Needless to say the crew were very appreciative of his efforts! He and his wife recently made the conversion to cruising complete with their purchase of a Dufour 43 that they are slowly refitting and enjoying, even with the high lake water levels in the 2017 season. Rob has expanded South Shore Yachts from its origins as specialists in hard-to-find C&C parts and information to a one-stop shop for all your boating needs. His experience and know-how will get you where you want to be - on the water.

Cody Montgomery, Owner & Service Specialist for South Shore Yachts in Niagara-on-the-LakeCody's technical skills, rigging and hydraulic knowledge and installation experience make him the go-to-guy for all your repairs and upgrades. Cody began sailing with his grandfather who still comes out on the water to cheer for his grandson on the racecourse. Cody's purchase of an SR 27 this fall (2017) has created great excitement in the shop and plans are underway for making her race ready. This purchase ensures the love of sailing will be passed on to the next generation; as Cody's one year old daughter has already laid claim to her new boat! Cody's sense of humour and ability to say it like it is; along with his mechanical background, love of sailing, conscientious attitude, technical ability and in depth knowledge ensures South Shore Yachts provides exemplary service to our customers.
