Experience Vancouver Island with SCYC

Situated between Nanaimo and Parksville, on the east coast of Vancouver Island, members of the Schooner Cove Yacht Club enjoy racing and cruising for twelve months of the year.

Racing is a great way to learn about the intricacies and the joy of sailing. Our inclusive racing program welcomes all sailors, whether novice or experienced. You'll find competitive series and regattas as well as fun racing.

The Schooner Cove Yacht Club has an active social program and features casual activities on the dock as well as organized events. We also provide educational opportunities.

Schooner Cove Yacht Club, through our Staff Captain, and other volunteers, organize cruises so members can experience the best of the coastal waters and enjoy the camaraderie of cruising with a group. We also have a large Reciprocal Program with many other yacht clubs and at present five Cruising Stations for members to utilize.

We welcome your application for membership, come and join us onshore and afloat.
