Sailing for the fun of it, beating the storm back

ep14 Leaving Hamilton

Canada Day weekend sail I was happy to get out and sail around the harbour. I knew a storm was coming in so I headed back early to make sure I didn’t have a blow coming in as I was trying to dock. As expected, the incoming front sucked all the wind out and I did some light motor tests and ran with the sail up. It was interesting to only be using 300 watts and it added 1 knot to my boat speed. This episode is just a fun video, tour of the harbour and I watched the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club Sailing School beat it in the last minute before the storm blew in!

I wanted to thank https://www.hopaports.ca/ HOPA PORTS for the great music again.

A personal life journey, a reflection, an introduction. Only leave footprints behind.
