As summer winds down, I am starting to get prepared for the winter work. You can tell that summer is over, less people at the marina, the nights are getting down in temperature; even the birds are quieter. Where are they actually? Some have left already.
Sailing Vessel Northern Comfort comes out in just over a month.

This winter, a couple major projects are the arch, the batteries and the interior fibreglassing. I am going to try and get through the head remodel.
In the spring, I am going to tackle the auto-pilot, generator, water tanks and last preparations for a journey down the St. Lawrence river out to the maritimes! I hope to film a lot of it and provide some useful information on the electric motor performance.
I’ll have to still be working as I journey but after a long 3 years of retrofitting our sailboat, it will be good to start cruising.
